CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR POSTER COMPETITION WINNER 'SAFARI'!!
Safari said she liked doing the competition because she '...likes to
draw and (that) Pasifika Vibes is her favorite festival'. She plans to have fun
like last year in the Children's tent, and on the rides. She likes the Tahitian
dances, and loves all the clothes and food stalls.
Safari is 7 years old and is from Scarborough. She is of Niuean /
Norwegian (Avatele and Alofi North) and Celtic-Maori descent. She drew her
inspiration from a recent three week trip to Niue where she learnt a song in 10
minutes and sung with Che Fu and Tinilau (Che's dad). She also enjoyed being
with her family, performing in the villages, going on lolly scrambles between
village to village, swimming with katuali (sea snake) at Avaiki, and being with
her two brothers and dad.

Had the best experience today, holding down our very own stall at Pasifika Vibes Festival 2012 We had the BEST SPOT EVER !!
